Using the printer’s control panel

When using the printer’s control panel, you will be provided with two options---Wi-Fi Protected Setup and Wireless Setup Wizard. If you wish to connect your HP printer to the wireless network without entering the network SSID and password manually, then select the WPS method. Similarly, to connect your printer to the wireless network manually, select the Wireless Setup Wizard option when prompted.

  • On your HP printer’s home screen, locate and tap the Wi-Fi icon.
  • Now, the Wi-Fi screen will open.
  • Select the Settings option.
  • Now, on the opened screen, you can find the Wi-Fi Protected Setup and Wireless Setup Wizard options.
