Hp Laserjet M1005 Mfp Setup

HP LaserJet M1005 MFP is a laser printer that makes printing jobs easy and accessible. This printer has many features that make printing, scanning, and copying black-and-white documents simpler.

Unboxing And Setup:

Check if all the below items are available in the box:

Hardware Installation:

Unpack the printer from the box and place it on a flat surface.
Remove all the blue protective tapes around the printer.
Pull out the paper tray from the printer, load the paper, and insert the tray back into the printer.
Unpack the toner cartridge from the box.
Now, place the toner cartridge into its respective slot and ensure that it sits in its place firmly.
Connect the power cord to the primary source and the back of the printer.
Now, press the printer’s Power button.
Follow the instructions carefully, select the language, and configure the required printer settings based on your preferences.
The hardware installation for the HP LaserJet M1005 printer is completed.

Software Installation:

Install the software CD that came with the printer into the computer’s CD-ROM drive.
Now, follow the on-screen instructions for installation.
If the Welcome screen does not open when you insert the software CD into the drive, select Start > Run and Browse for the root directory of the installation CD.
Navigate to the respective file directory of the software CD and run the file for installation.

- Visit the official HP LaserJet M1005 MFP support page and select the respective Operating System (Windows) at the top of the page.
- Select the Drivers option and pick the appropriate driver from the list and click the Download button.
- After clicking the Download button, a pop-up message will appear and ask you to select the file directory to save the driver file.
- Then, click on the Start Download button.
