Hardware Installation:
- Unpack the box and pull out the printer from the pack.
- Remove all the plastic tapes, packing materials around the printer.
- Open the front door of the printer.
- Discard the protective tapes and packing materials below the ink cartridge access door.
- Open the cartridge door and remove the packing tapes inside the printer.
- Close the cartridge access door.
- Now, open the cardboard box and remove the pack’s contents (ink cartridges, power cord, and USB cable).
- Plug the power cord to the back of the printer and then plug the other end into an electrical outlet.
- Turn on your HP DeskJet 3630 printer.
- Unpack the ink cartridges from the package.
- Now, remove one of the ink cartridges and pull the orange tab and protective tapes from it.
- Make sure not to touch the ink cartridge contacts.
- Open the ink cartridge access door and insert the new ink cartridge into the respective slot.
- Follow these steps to insert the remaining ink cartridges into their appropriate places.
- Close the cartridge access door and the front door.
- Now, lift the input tray from the printer.
- Adjust the paper width guide to the left side of your printer.
- Insert the sheets into the input tray and adjust the paper guide to the right until it rests at the edge of the sheets.
- Now, pull the output tray completely out of the printer and raise the tray extender.
